General Information Session
(about 15 – 30 min) with the fee of $150.
Initial Interview
(usually lasts 60 to 90 min) with the fee of $250.
Audiological evaluation
costs varies between $150 and $600 and depends on performed tests if they are done in the Clinic or online. Some audiological tests have to be repeated during the course of treatment.
Short counseling
(usually lasts 60 to 90 min). It can be performed only after Initial Interview with the fee of $300.
If you decide to enter full treatment this fee will be applied to the fee for extensive counseling.
Extensive counseling
fee $1,200 which covers first initial counseling session and 6 months
of the interactions (time varies 1.5 – 3 hrs).
Follow-up visits
after 6 months of the treatment are charged $200 per first hour and $25 per subsequent 15 minutes.
There is the same fee for in the Clinic and online video follow-up contacts.
online fitting
There is a possibility of having sound generators sent to you and fitting performed online with video assistance. The fee for appointment for fitting of sound generators is $150 in the Clinic (about 45+ min) and $200 online (60+ min).
amplification
Should you need amplification, hearing aids or hearing aid combined in one unit with sound
generators (so called combination instrument) can be provided during your personal visit in the Clinic or send to you, if you have recent audiogram from your local audiologist or we have results of your hearing test we performed online.
Remote fitting
For remote fitting of hearing aids we are using only instruments from Signia, phonak, oticon. The cost of hearing aids depends on the specific make, model, and style and the cost may vary starting at $1,700 for a pair of basic devices to $6,300 for a pair of high end instruments. For fitting and programming hearing aids or combination instruments the fees are $250 in the Clinic and $300 online.
Your own devices
If you decide to use devices you have already and they can be utilized in TRT treatment we will work with you on their fitting, programing and teaching you how to use them. The fitting in the Clinic the fee is $200 for sound generators and $450 for hearing aids. For fitting online fitting fee is $250 for sound generators and $500 for hearing aids.

Things to note regarding our services and operations

You may encounter additional expenses if you choose to buy some accessories, e.g., remote control.
Please note, that in the Clinic we are servicing only GHI sound generators, and hearing aids only from Signia, Phonak, Unitron, GHI, GN Resound, Oticon, and Starkey. omit–Online we are servicing only GHI sound generators and Signia hearing aids.

For appointments in the Clinic, we accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover cards (please note – we cannot accept American Express).

All payments are expected at the time of the visit. We do not participate with, or accept medical insurance, with the exception of Medicare Part B (excluding supplemental insurance).

You have the option to submit a claim yourself to your insurance company to seek personal reimbursement. If you choose this option, it is your responsibility to contact your insurance company prior to your CRYSTAL CLEAR appointment to obtain any necessary information regarding their reimbursement rules and the information you will need from us related to your appointment to apply for reimbursement (e.g., some insurance companies require a detailed report by the audiologist describing your case history with an explanation of our findings and recommendations).
CRYSTAL CLEAR is not responsible should any part or your entire request for reimbursement be denied for any reason, but we will try our best to provide you with the information that is required by your insurance company.
